Lombardi Helps to Kick Off Broadway Season

LombardiGalleryFor years, Broadway fans and NFL fanatics have cheered in the fall for the start of their respective new seasons. This year, for the first time, the two disparate groups may well find themselves cheering together as Broadway welcomes the new production of LOMBARDI about the famed Green Bay Packer head coach. The show is earning early praise and features the incomparably talented Judith Light and the uncanningly-Lombardi-esque Dan Lauria, who seems like Lombardi incarnate. Also on hand is a solid ensemble that includes: Keith Nobbs as Michael McCormick, Bill Dawes as Paul Hornung, Robert Christopher Riley as Dave Robinson and Chris Sullivan as Jim Taylor. The show starts previews on September 23 at Circle In The Square Theatre. In the meantime, enjoy these photos by Joan Marcus.
